Commerce Bank has an opportunity for a Branch Manager. We are seeking candidates with attributes consistent with the organization’s core values: Care, Proactivity, and Accountability.

Job responsibilities of the Branch Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Deliver world-class service to clients. Ensure retail banking staff also delivers exceptional service creating positive experiences for our clients.
  • Manage retail banking staff.
  • Develop new deposit and loan relationships to the bank.
  • Accept and process consumer loan applications.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to expand product and services with existing clients.
  • Participate on joint calls with other Bank officers to obtain new business.
  • Maintain and manage several vendor relationships.
  • All duties as may be assigned.

Required experience:

  • 5 years of retail banking experience.

Commerce Bank has an opportunity for a full-time Personal Banker. We are seeking candidates with attributes consistent with the organization’s core values: Care, Proactivity, and Accountability.

Job responsibilities of the Personal Banker include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Representing the Bank to clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Providing world-class service in the processing of deposit and loan transactions including withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding products and services offered by the Bank.
  • Opening new accounts while ensuring required forms and records are completed in compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
  • Identifying cross-sell opportunities for additional loan and deposit products.
  • Assisting with daily operational functions of the Bank.
  • All duties as may be assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the banking industry performing teller and client service functions within a retail banking setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of delivering exceptional client service.
  • Willingness to help the team in any way necessary with a positive attitude.
